The reason why I couldn’t get that thing off of me was because I didn’t know it was on me. I was taught you could be mentally ill, but you couldn’t be oppressed by a demon. I didn’t have the answer because I was taught out of it. You know why I didn’t tell that thing to leave three and a half years earlier? Because I was taught I couldn’t have a demon; that demons couldn’t bother Christians. Then I began to realize that if they could bother Jesus in the wilderness, they probably could bother me…

After more than three decades of serving saints who are under the dominion or the Evil One in subtle (and not so subtle) ways, I am convinced that without deliverance, following Jesus is a whole lot of work.

Deliverance for the oppressed…

…is one of the few bullet points highlighted in Jesus’ mission statement announced at his public reading of Isaiah 61. That being said, we believe every believer should receive deliverance ministry, preferably at the beginning of their walk with Jesus.

Are you in a battle that you’re not seeing victory in?

It’s hard to win a battle when we’re fighting the wrong enemy, even worse, one that you don’t know you’re in. We’ve found the enemy likes to obfuscate the issue at hand. Remember, “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12.

Our mission is simple: help the body obtain the freedom that Jesus made available.

Can a Christian really be under the influence of demons?

Yes, in fact, we’ve never done deliverance on someone who wasn’t a Christian. Freedom from our enemies is for the believer, an integral part of what Jesus made available!

“The Greek verb daimonidzomai may also be translated “to be demonized.” This does happen to believers, whose soul (mind, will or emotions) can be demonically harassed in many ways and with varying degrees of torment. Such attacks from demons find effect, due to intensified, wearying personal trials (2 Cor. 12:7); due to one’s being deceived (1 Tim. 4:1, 2); through one’s being broken down by lies of the Enemy (2 Cor. 10:4-6); or by one’s repeated engagement in sinful activity (Eph. 4:27).”

The good news is that Jesus gave us “authority over all the power of the enemy” (Luke 10:19). Because of that, deliverance can be a safe, fast, and peaceful experience leading to the most incredible and easily obtained fruit.

Our Model

We approach deliverance and inner healing using two primary tools: Prophetic Deliverance and SOZO.

Prophetic Deliverance maintains a set of core values, differing it from many other models. Though it’s not the only effective deliverance model, we have found it to be the safest and gentlest for all parties involved. Here are some core values:

  • We do not allow demons to manifest in any way.
  • Deliverance should be a gentle experience.
  • We do deliverance with a team. Usually, between four to six team members. Not only is there little biblical precedent for any of Jesus’ disciples operating in this ministry independently, but we put great value on maintaining integrity through “two or three” (1 Corinthians 14:29 & Deuteronomy 19:15b).
  • Prophetic deliverance is prophetic. We do not diagnose through natural circumstances, or by interaction with the demonic. We go directly to the Holy Spirit, asking for Him to reveal to us everything we need to know. Each team member then writes down what they hear from the Lord to present to the team leader.
  • Prophetic deliverance focuses on identifying and casting out the chief and ruling spirit and all it’s underlings, in one fell swoop.

We currently do not charge any fee or request any donation for Prophetic Deliverance. Being able to partner with Jesus in his ministry to the saints is a reward in itself!
