Spring 2021 Update

Hey, everyone! Hope this update finds you in health and happiness despite the continuing pandemic. This very may well have been our longest period without an update, because well..., we've been super busy! (Happy Easter!) A few numbers to describe our current life... Days lived in Japan: 570ish Number of trains boarded since the last blog update: 800+ Days a week in language school: 6 Number of vocab flashcards I'm supposed to do today: 5601 (estimated 14 hours 42 min) Total hours in Japanese class: ~1300 and counting Height of the stack of completed homework papers on my desk:20.5cm / 8 inches Though we spend a lot of time studying, we've been up to a few other things as well... 300 days – Summer 2020 update

300日数! Today marks my 300th day in Japan! (Danielle is just a little behind that.) The passage of time stops for no man; or virus for that matter. The newest Iris missionaries

Danielle and I are thrilled to share that as of April,... we're officially Missionaries with Iris Global! What this means to us For us, joining Iris Global represents joining our family and friends in the pursuit, and ministry of, Jesus across the world. As we've watched the Lord connect-the-dots over the years, we believe this to be part of a divine strategy unfolding before us, directly impacting what we do here in Japan. We're looking forward to building relationships with and learning from the wonderful people that make up the organization.
